A while back now I bought a Kodak DC4800. Since with a digital it's basically free to take as many photos as you like -- I have. Over a hundred thousand last time I counted. (The camera is worn out.)
If you plan to look at the original photo I must warn you most of them are 2160 x 1440 JPEG's. In other words, almost none of you will have a monitor capable of displaying the entire image at once. (However, MSIE6+ will auto-shrink the image for you when needed.)
