nBodySim

nBodySim is a graphic simulation of the classic nBody problem using Newtonian gravity and rigid solid-body collisions. Has 2d and 3d modes.

This software was written sometime in early 2003 (I don't remember exactly when) in C++ using MSVC++ 6 Professional SP5 + MS Platform SDK. Comes with complete C++ source code and precompiled executable.

  1. NOTE: I don't believe I ever completely debugged the rigid body collisions.
  2. NOTE: The left and right mouse buttons select bodies and change accelerations respectively.
