Comp.os.ition was an international project of around 50 persons organized to produce a new pipe-oriented general operating system. They were in the design phase of the Ition OS until the very beginning of 1996 at the Ition Web Site hosted in the Netherlands.
Recently however, their project had become stalled, and, as somewhat of a surprise to myself, several of the core member made a motion to dissolve the project and integrate themselves into the Grail Millennium Project.
Their former FAQ maintainer is Luc Stepniewski.
Note: There are some rumours that Ition might be stirring back to life.
